Kimbra 1994 - 2003 Kimbra was our first Mal. We rescued her from a "backyard breeder" when she was a puppy. She lived to be 9 years old before succumbing to cancer. She had her right knee replaced with a synthetic ligament and had cataracts in both eyes. Up until the time of her death, she still played like a puppy. She definitely had spirit! She and John had a special bond and she was never far from his side.
